Packing and stuff...

To be honest I haven't started actually packing suitcases yet, I have 6 more days to worry about that. But I have been packing up the attics, kids room, kitchen etc. So far, Dan and I have spent about 7 days full on cleaning and packing up the house. It's been utterly exhausting and I have had death sleeps every night! Here are some pics from our week of hard work...

Jimmie and Barney get rather over excited about taking this trip...

Daddy and Barney find a heap of toys in the loft that Barneys never seen before, here they are playing with the marble run.

The horror of my bedroom as I clean out the attic. Least I found plenty of suitcases for the trip...

Dan gets so bored with packing that he relieves his bored by dancing on the stairs with a large box on his head. I don't think it occurred to him that if he broke his legs we wouldn't actually be able to go....

I randomly came across your blog while procrastinating at work today and read that you will be in Titusville. I'm from Brevard County (Satellite Beach - about 30 miles Southeast of Titusville). If you head over to Cape Canaveral - make sure you visit Ron Jon's - you'll see the billboards. Its a GIGANTIC surf shop. If you take A1A just south about 25 minutes (give or take) you pass Patrick Air Force Base and then hit Satellite Beach. It's a beach community 1 mile x 1 mile with about 10,000 people. For some local "quisine" please visit DaKine Diegos for a Monster Burrito! A little bit (like .2 miles) past DaKine is a great beach access with a playground for the kiddos. If you want any other info on the area - please feel free to email me: veronica.netzer@gmail.com! Enjoy your trip!

Wow! I too just stumbled onto your blog while procrastinating at work. I am happy to see the story of your impending travels. Yet, I shudder at the thoughts of having to clean out our house! I'll be watching your progress with great interest (and much jealousy). If you are looking for beaches, don't pass up on North Carolina. We have some of the most amazing, quiet, remote beaches you'll find anywhere. And the barbecue is beyond description.

Wow its so exciting when people stumble across the blog and leave a message :)

Thanks for the info veronica I shall be sure to make use of it.

And Tom, we would have dearly loved to visit South and North Carolina, and to go up into Virginia, but I think it may be too cold. We will be in Georgia about 3rd week of feb. Would it be too cold for RVing and beaches around North Carolina at that time of year?
